Angband, NetHack, and other terminal roguelikes in your browser

Webband runs eight classic terminal (TUI) roguelikes — Angband, NetHack, Sil-Q, Rogue, ToME, Umoria, FrogComposband, and FroxComposband — in your browser. Each game is built from source and runs in a local virtual machine (v86), rendered with xterm.js. Saves are stored locally in your browser.

Everything runs locally in the browser. Searchable command references, macros, configurable terminal fonts, and autosave are built in.

WEBBAND

Webband is an experiment to bring roguelikes right in your browser.
Angband, FrogComposband, NetHack, Sil-Q, Rogue, ToME, Umoria, and FroxComposband are available.

Games run locally in the v86 emulator. All saves are stored locally.

Powered by v86, xterm.js, energy drinks and some fate.

Where are saves stored?
In your browser (OPFS / IndexedDB). Nothing is uploaded.
